Wadada Wim is an Amsterdam-based band playing original songs rooted in reggae, soul and modern roots.

But we are not trying to recreate Jamaica.

We make our own music, from our own place, shaped by the people, stories and world around us.

What does WADADA mean ?

WADADA means love — a greeting of friendship, warmth and connection.

And that is where our music begins: with love for life, for people and for the world we share.
